• Setting up an online gallery of learners work where community tutors can show, view and sell examples of learners’ work using Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) funding. This was the first entrepreneurial project funded by JISC.

• Increasing opportunities both online and at outreach events for potential new start ups by developing a social networking site, focused on sharing of good practice which is used by all FE Colleges of North and Mid Wales. This was funded by the Welsh Government for 3 years.

• Promoting self-employment opportunities to disadvantaged learners and students by, for example using Role models in the classroom to develop environments where learners understand the risks and rewards of enterprise based on accurate information. This was funded by Menter a Busnes, a company which provides support and advice to individuals and groups who want to start or develop businesses.

• Providing an advanced level of innovation amongst learners with an interest in working within the Creative Technologies sector by securing status for the College as an Apple Regional Training Centre, and providing training courses to schools and colleges in the area.

• Setting up a gallery and exhibition space for local SME’s involved in the Creative Industries to exhibit and sell their work at the Theatre Harlech which is part of the College’s main site.
